Earn an Online Education at Grand Canyon University
With the demands put on working professionals, online education has become a popular way to earn a college degree. An online education allows you to attend class on your own schedule, from the comfort of your own home or a location of your choice.
At Grand Canyon University, we understand working professionals maintain a busy schedule, yet many aspire to attain a higher level of education for personal fulfillment or to qualify for promotions and career advancement. Grand Canyon University stands apart from the other online education institutions because we are backed by the history of our traditional campus. Our online classes allow you to study at the times that work for your schedule while still enjoying a close connection with your classmates and instructor via online discussions.
Online Learning Technology
At Grand Canyon University, we strive to make your online experience as seamless as possible. All of our online education courses use online learning technology, which means you will have a consistent format in each of the classes you take. At the start of each course, you will enter a tutorial to become familiar with the online structure. In your account, you will have access to everything you need, including your course syllabus, staff information, discussion boards and a digital drop box, where you will submit all of your assignments.
Depending on the degree program, a minimum of 10-25 hours per week on your studies can be expected. Interaction is asynchronous, so you sign on, respond to message boards and see professor notes on your time and at your own convenience. One of the best features is that the online learning system is available 24/7 so you are able to study any time of day or night you choose.
Classes Offered One at a Time
Through GCU’s online education courses, you’ll take just one class at a time. We have found that by giving students each class individually, they are able to better focus and achieve a more in-depth level of understanding.
Full-Time Online Faculty
We understand the importance of hiring quality faculty, who are dedicated to helping students succeed. This is why in addition to the outstanding faculty instructing at the GCU campus, the university is pleased to provide dedicated, full-time faculty members and fully trained adjunct instructors to serve our online education students.
